To respond to some recent emails, and less recent comments:
1.) Yes, I'm aware of the conversation going on at another Deadspin-related blog, and no, I'd prefer not to weigh in.
2.) I'm not in any way competing with or trying to outdo anyone else's production; I'm not ignoring or spurning anyone, just doing my own thing.
3.) To the people who offered support, thanks, I appreciate it. To the couple of people who told me I suck, thanks for reading. To the person who actually threatened me, I'm hoping you make it through your time of distress OK.
